Shiitakes are one of the most popular cultivated varieties of specialty mushrooms. They have an intense flavor that are great in soups, braises and steamed dishes. Direction: Rinse dried Shiitake with cold water. Soak in warm water for 20-30 min before making any recipe. Soaking water adds deep flavour to soup stock. Store in a cool, dry place.
